Mercy College, a premier institution imparting quality education was started in 1977 in Vatakara Town, Kozhikode (Dist). At its inception there were BA. History and Economics (Double Main), B.Com, MA. English and MA. History Courses. In 1984 BSc. Mathematics was also included. Other PG courses were introduced in the year 2000 at Vatakara and Calicut.

The first phase of expansion of Mercy College started in 1999 at Eranhipalam, Kozhikode (Dist). By 2003, Mercy College expanded its functioning in Guruvayur and 3 different places in Calicut District, Cheruvannur, Perambra and Kallachi.

The institution continues to excel in the field of education and culture. Our students achieve high marks in the University examinations and performs well in several arts fields. We promise to serve the student community with sincerity and dedication for all time to come.

Just to brief about us and diversified educational program we conduct, we offer the following courses in our different campus with the strength of qualified and well experienced faculties.

Mercy Group of College is enriched with the asset of more than 2000 Alumnis working in high ranks in different organizations. We have well equipped computer lab with highly qualified teachers. Given to the requirement of providing more and efficient space, we opened 3 different blocks in different area in Guruvayur.

LC meet held at Bangalore on 18-11-2010. Award received from Mr. Thimmiya, Vice – President (SMU) by Mr. Vinod C T, Centre Head of Mercy IT, Guruvayur.

Just to quote our few achievement, Mercy Institute of Technology, Guruvayur achieved “The Best Learning Centre Award” of Sikkim Manipal University in the year 2009 from Dr.Anand Sudharshan, CEO of Manipal Education in national convention held at Mysore and also got “The Best Performance Award” in the year 2010 in the LC meet held at Bangalore from Mr. Thimmiya, Vice President of Sikkim Manipal University.

Professional courses of Sikkim Manipal University – MBA with 11 specializations, MCA, MSc IT, BBA, BCA, BSc IT.
We provide Bharathiar University courses like MBA with 27 specializations, MCA, MSc. IT / Applied Psychology / Maths, MAJM, MSW, BBA, BBM, BSc. IT / CS / Costume Design and Fashion Technology / Visual Communication / Maths, BSW – Approved by UGC,DEC, Re-accredited with ‘A ’ grade by NAAC.
We have Kerala Government approved computer courses under C-DIT (CENTRE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF IMAGING TECHNOLOGY) and its chairman is our honorable Chief Minister. C-DIT courses are PSC approved.

Higher Secondary (Kerala State Open School +1 and +2 Science / Computer Application). In addition to the different academic courses offered to the society, Mercy College is also took initiative and engaged in forming up NILA (Natures Intimate Lovers Association) natural club inaugurated by Prof. Mathew (Kerala Agricultural Research Center) in 2003 contributes many social activities. Many camps conducted like blood donation.
